 EARNS ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY DESIGNATION FROM FI360

 

Alexandria, VA, September 26, 2011 – Lee V. Bethel, CLU®, ChFC®, REBC®, RHU®, CAP®, AIF® of Comprehensive Benefit Services, Inc. has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from Fiduciary 360 (fi360). Fiduciary 360 is an organization offering training, tools and resources to promote a culture of fiduciary responsibility and improve the decision making processes of fiduciaries. The AIF designation signifies knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care.

Bethel, a resident of Washington DC, is President of Comprehensive Benefit Services, Inc. and is a Series 7, 63 and 65 registered representative with LPL Financial. Bethel specializes in corporate and individual benefit, retirement, investment and insurance planning. He has been in the insurance, employee benefit, investment and financial services field since 1979 and he is a graduate of Morehouse College. He is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the National Association of Health Underwriters and the District of Columbia Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table with four Court of the Table qualifications based on life and securities sales production. He was featured in the April 2006 issue of Life Insurance Selling and in September of 2006 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the National African American Insurance Association. In January 2009 he became a member of the Board of Trustees of The American College. In January 2009 he also became the Chair of the Employee Benefits Section for the Society of Financial Services Professionals. He is married and has 3 daughters. He has served on the Board of Advisors of his church, is an accomplished bass guitar player and also directs a 20-piece church orchestra.
